Since 1984, the Notebooks of the Center for Cypriot Studies
(abbreviation CCEC), owned by the association whose name they bear, publish studies on the history and archeology of Cyprus, from Antiquity to the present day, often within the framework of thematic files. Publication has been annual since 1997 (semi-annual previously). The most represented period is Antiquity, from the end of the 2nd millennium BC. BC to the beginning of the Byzantine era; Since the beginning, historiographical studies have held an important place. The journal also publishes reviews of recent works. The authors are mainly archaeologists, historians and art historians. Most articles are written in French or English, but texts in German, Greek and Italian are also accepted. The journal is aimed at an audience of specialists: advanced students, teachers, researchers, curators. It is financially supported by the AG Leventis Foundation (London).
