Hypnos is, qualitatively and quantitatively, a magazine of Greco-Roman Philosophy. It also seeks to expand the dialogue with other knowledge from Classical Antiquity, today well defined in our Universities: Classical Literature, Greco-Roman History, History of Religions, Classical Languages, etc. We believe that Greco-Roman culture should be embraced by Philosophy scholars with maximum coverage. The Editorial Office pursues this objective and will seek to publish, whenever possible, not only texts on Greco-Roman Philosophy but literary, linguistic, historical, psychological, anthropological and other research consistent with this historical period. The extent of ancient Greek and Roman culture makes current academic divisions a necessity, but not a rule that will limit the researcher, philosopher or not. Therefore, Hypnos presents broad limits for the reception of these studies. Basically, this magazine is a vehicle to help the interaction of Brazilian and non-Brazilian Greco-Roman studies.
